Conductive Keratoplasty

CK, the first and only FDA-approved vision technology for presbyopia, is helping millions of baby boomers with age-related near vision loss. The most common eye condition in America, presbyopia affects most people after age 40 and everyone by age 51. Patients around the world have undergone the CK procedure with success, reducing their dependence on glasses to drive at night, work on the computer, or read a menu.

The safe, simple, and virtually painless procedure can be conveniently performed by Dr. Blue in our office. CK is a non-laser procedure that uses only a topical (eye drop) anesthesia. It can take as little as three minutes to perform; you can even return to work or normal activities the next day.

After more than 20 years of research, CK uses radio frequency energy, instead of a laser, to change the shape of your eye and correct your specific refraction. With CK, controlled radio frequency energy shrinks the corneal tissue, steepening the cornea to provide your specific correction. CK received FDA approval for farsightedness in 2002 and for presbyopia correction in 2004.

The entire procedure takes only a few minutes and soon you'll be on your way with a younger look, a more confident attitude, and less dependency on glasses to read. If you're ready to turn back the clock and reclaim the reader-free vision you once had, contact us today or call 888-237-2583 to schedule your free consultation.
